SMG Masonry was called to restore the masonry at a car dealership experiencing water infiltration due to missing mortar and deteriorated sealing. Our team conducted a thorough inspection of the flashing and identified key areas requiring repair.
To address the issue, we performed tuckpointing to restore the missing mortar and rebuilt the damaged masonry to ensure structural integrity. We also removed the old, failing caulk and applied new high-quality caulk, using primer as a contact cement for enhanced adhesion. To further protect the masonry, we applied two coats of primer followed by two coats of paint, sealing the surface against moisture and environmental wear.
